This hand crafted wooden box contains a bottle of fine absinthe (label designed and signed by Peter Christopherson), two absinthe glasses, and a cd containing a unique new track specially recorded by Peter Christopherson / Coil for this product, lasting approximately 11 minutes, called "Animal Are You?". ...and the Absinthe is good too!
Following the success of Thai pressings of The Remote Viewer and Black Antlers we are planning to expand the cd catalog still further.
After many many requests we are currently working on a two disc release of Time Machines which, as well as the original, will include a further hour or so of new works based on the more trancendental molcules that have come to our attention in the past few years. This double set in expanded artwork will be the same price as the original.
Also we are very excited to confirm the news that has been on myspace/thresholdhouse for a while:
We are a planning the first release from The Threshold HouseBoys Choir. It will consist of a more complete version of the video which was seen both in St Petersburg and at the Brainwashed Festival last year. Although not likely to be the final form of THBC, this piece is a transitional work, that has proved very popular with everyone who has seen it. Since bootleg and unauthorised copies are beginnning to leak out, we have decide to make the proper thing available to all. The package will contain the work in BOTH cd and dvd form, so it can be played as required.
More details of both of these will posted as soon as we have them.
Musick to Play in the Dark Vols 1 and 2 are now available in CD (as well as download) form from the Store, and "...ambulence" and COIL-ANS are back in stock.
The next re-issue is likely to be "Moon's Milk in Six Phases", which will feature a third full disc, containing both the o riginal bonus cd-r songs that came with the the first pressing of "Moon's Milk or Under an Unquiet Skull" and some new reinterpretations of those songs, as well as the two original discs. This will come in a Gallery edition package, and will include high quality reproductions of all 123+ paintings by Jhonn that accompanied the cdrs.
Although I have good copies of the paintings on the cdr covers, I do not have a record of Jhonn's original titles for the paintings which were on the reverse side of the cdr card sleeves. If anyone owning one of the original painted cdrs, could contact me, attaching a rough picture or scan of their sleeve (preferably front and back), with a note of whats written there, and I will be happy to credit you on the new package.
Regarding the format:
Many thanks to everyone who has written thus far. It looks like the full deluxe version will be in stores in January or February. But enough people have said they would prefer to be able to buy just the bonus disc (contianing the cdr and new material), that this single disc will also be available on its own, via the store here, both on cd and as a download, when the package come out.
We are also planning an "affordable" vinyl edition of Ape, in collaboration with Important Records, which will also include one 12" disc of some of the original Backwards songs, that did not appear on the post-mortem cd edition of Ape.
We will post more details when we have them.
We have not forgotten that the Racing Green edition still has not been completed. Ian Johnstone, whose work graces the cover of the cd edition, plans to finish the next 13 copies of this extremely limited and deluxe hand-made and painted Wooden Box Edition of The Ape of Naples, early in the New Year. When these become available we will be writing to those who applied to buy the edition original to see if they are still interested to be involved. As ever we appreciate your patience!
