One of the the things I promise to do, after I return from touring and before I leave the Compound, is to complete the long awaited Coil Live Video Collection, Colour Sound Oblivion. Its mostly done, in fact. Only the first and last shows remain to be edited.
However the long delay has raised another question: By now even Americans have come to accept that NTSC is one of the worst TV systems ever invented and are struggling to improve the quality of their TV.
I was planning to make a box set comprising some 9 or 10 shows and three hours of Projection style dvd discs with accompanying "karaoke" style music tracks made from the original backings, (so you can sing along or remake your own versions). But it seems a shame to have to master everything in NTSC, just to accommodate those poor folks, with the worst TV in the world (Unfortunately making a PAL and NTSC disc versions is not practical).
One alternate possibility would be to present the files in i-tunes format on a custom usb stick, so you could just import the files into i-tunes and play them from there (or a similar player). It might look something like this:

Though of course this way, you could only watch them on TV if you are already set up to play from i-tunes into your TV.
Just how loyal to the dvd format are we, these days? Please could you register your preference as follows:

As you may know my collaboration with Ivan Pavlov, which has been going on for a few years now, called SoiSong, is just about to release its first full length album, called "xAj3z". It's true the web site does require you to enter a password to receive more information about the product in question. Where might one find these I wonder? I believe it to be possibly the best work I have done - Check it out.

My second earliest band, Throbbing Gristle, (the first was called Pulsing Vein) will hopefully be touring the US in April. (Click on the TG flash to the right for details of the shows). There will be merch available there, exclusive to the tour (even to the venue in some places) but most should be available from the TG online store thereafter, unless sold out.
...will be appearing at the following locations next month:

The Equinox Festival - Conway Hall, LondonWe recently released an Amulet Edition of 4 mini-cds. For more details see the Threshold Store (click on SHOPPING above). There are a few remaining, and I will be bring one or two of them with me on the dates in case you haven't got it yet, or want it signed.
We hope soon to be making the film plus audio only versions of "Form Grow Rampant" available in the store. He is a taste:
Obviously the purchased versions will be broadcast (or at least i-tunes) quality...
It remains to be seen whether the current financial world Doom and Gloom Festival will leave everyone trucking their worldly good across the Badlands on the back of a pick-up, in search of better times. I know if the pound doesn't get any stronger soon I'm gonna have to move from my present, roomy "Apocalypse Now-style" Compound, complete with ruined gods, naked tribesmen, and me musing at the Heart of It All, in the semi-darkness, to a 2-up, 2-down in Nontaburi, or somewhere...

I pray we all make it through at this difficult time... [Don't worry I'm praying to the right Gods!]
