    Well, I tried to find a place to post or message someone regarding my comment and this seems to be the closest fit. I was introduced to Coil for the first time today and listened to Cold Cell and Careful What you Wish For both of which echoed religious undertones. What is key in Cold Cell is the ‘amens’ toward the end of the song. ‘Amen’ is rooted in ‘OM’ which sounds like ‘ahm’ or ‘aum’. It is a mantra…man in sankrit(mana) mind…tra(wave). Mantra is a technology of sound through word to change brain wave patterns. Human – Hu-sanskrit for ‘light of the divine’, man(mind) so a human is essentially a radian mind. Universe- Uni- one, verse(rhythm or beat) the word in of itself implies sound or vibration and nothing exists if there is not vibration, everything is in a state of vibration. There are audible and inaudible vibrations. Mantra is an audible one. When you recite ‘OM’ it vibrates your skull and brain matter. It is one of many ‘entry codes’ that harmonizes one’s resonance with the universal sound current.

      How does the Hebrew word (aleph-mem-nun: ????? )  - deriving most likely from the Arabic ??mana  ( ???? ) - meaning “so be it”, or “truly, verily” equate to the Sanskrit ? aum or OM? I am in no way disagreeing with the subsequent remarks you make about mantra, sound, vibration, etc. – I just don’t understand what “connection” you imagine there to be?

    THANK YOU whomever may be continuing to maintain this site and update its contents. I need to get in contact with the person responsible for copyright release on coil material. I’m a recent MFA Animation/Storyboarding graduate and for my thesis storyboarded a short film using a cover version I did of “Blood From The Air” from Horse Rotorvator. I would like to continue on the project and fully animate it and need to know what I can do to secure the rights for the song. I only wish Jhonn and Sleazy could hear/see it.
